Ursula’s Labor Story | Seattle WA

Posted in Bumps and Babies

A few years back, I took a doula course (click here for more information on what a doula is), and I was absolutely fascinated by the class discussions and lectures, a rather more grown up and less first-hand version of an interest in pregnancy than stuffing a pillow up my shirt, as mentioned in a previous post. Ursula invited me to be her photographer and doula for her second birth. It was my first time witnessing a new little life being born, and it was such a privilege to be there to support her and her family and to tell her birth story in photos. You did such a great job, Ursula; I’m so proud of you! Thank you for allowing me to share these images.

Have no worries, the following images are rated PG. :)
