Ask my boyfriend Jake, and he’ll tell you that I exclaim, “I want a puppy!” no fewer than 10 times a week. By the way, I call ALL dogs puppies, even if they’re old enough to have gray fur on their snouts. Oscar the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is a people-loving, squirming, licking-every-face-that’s-close-enough, growling-at-nothing-in-particular, with a face that’s impossible not to love, kind of dog that feels tortured when forced to be more than 10 feet away from his people. During the maternity session with Jackie and Justin, he whined and whimpered until we included him. Given that he’s so dang cute, who could deny him that?! Photographing puppies is just so fun!
