Aren’t these guys just great?! I like to think of the kind of sessions I specialize in as “uncontrolled portraits,” and this session says that so well. The kids having fun together running around in the backyard and hanging out doing their thing in their respective rooms. Spontaneous and real, that’s how we roll. My heart just melted at how sweet the older brothers were with their little sister. Oh, and Mom chose the top photo for a large wall display for the staircase, love love love it!!

She wanted to capture the feelings of “little kid-ness” because before you know it they won’t be so little anymore. I had so much fun hanging out with them, capturing the moments as they happened- from the sweetness of big brother reading a book to his sisters to goofing around in the backyard to cuddling on the couch- we did it all!

You guys totally have to check out Maggie’s blog – she writes about her musings and life’s adventures in a fabulously witty and charming way. She wrote about her portrait experience with little ole me HERE, HERE, and HERE. LOVE!

Don’t you just love the colors in her house (I’m coveting her pillows) and their clothing choices are so fun! Want more what-to-wear inspiration for your dream session? Then you need my new style guide which you can get for free by popping your email address in here:
