With the unusual abundance of that bright orange ball in the sky in the recent past, Amanda and her kids and I set out for the park to get some fun-in-the-winter-sun shots. I’m such a wimp now when it comes to the cold but we stayed plenty warm running around and by the time the cold finally did soak in, we trooped on over to the warmth of a nearby coffee shop. I was so excited to be invited to Australia to photograph Nicole and Trent’s wedding day! It was my first time Down Under and so I jumped at the chance to escape Seattle for some sunshine on Australia’s Gold Coast. They rented this great holiday house which made for a perfect intimate setting on their wedding day and place to hang out by the pool in the days before the big day. They are great friends and it was a wonderful time spent with them.
